Polynesian Spearhead Pendant with Aquamarine

This is a Polynesian Spearhead pendant including spearhead and shark teeth symbols from traditional polynesian culture. This piece is carved from wax, cast in Sterling Silver and hand engraved with 24K Gold Inlay with a 4mm natural aquamarine set into the front. This piece was a lot of fun to create, I approached this one from a more zen-like fashion where I drew everything on as I went without much of a plan, it kept me in the moment, just feeling the piece out as I went which also took some of the stress off of trying to follow “a perfect plan”. I intentionally wanted to create more simple patterns as I feel these can sometimes be more beautiful and striking than high detail shading which isn’t always discernible when you’re wearing a piece out in public. This pendant comes on a 24" sterling silver rhodium plated franco chain.
